Case Study: O2Work
Introduction
Unipin ultraviolet disinfection robot uses high-intensity ultraviolet radiation of 253.7nm wavelength to disinfect and sterilize. It destroys the DNA and RNA of the pathogen in a few minutes, so as to achieve the killing effect. After testing, the high-level disinfection mode can completely kill 99.99% of the spores on the environmental surface (smooth surface, rough porous surface) and various multi drug-resistant bacteria.
O2Work Case
Area : 4000 square feet
Travelling speed : 0.1m/s
Travel time per cycle : 22 minutes
Total energy : Approximate 13 mJ/cm2
Common Bacteria and Virus
UNIPIN UV Disinfection Robot is able to kill various types or Bacteria and Viruses up to 99% including:
-
E.coli (6.6mj/cm2)
-
S.aureus (6.6mj/cm2)
-
Salmonella (4.1 ~ 7.6mj/cm2)
-
Cholera (6.5mj/cm2)
-
Influenza (6.6mj/cm2)
-
Infectious Hepatitis (8.0mj/cm2)
-
Sars-CoV-2 (5.0mj/cm2)
COVID-19 Research
The university’s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) exposed materials containing the virus to a UV-C tube lamp from Signify. It found that a dose of 5 mJ/cm2 resulted in “a reduction of the SARS-CoV-2 virus of 99% in 6 seconds.” (SARS-CoV-2 is the more scientific name for the novel coronavirus).
